Friends and family of Kirsten Nicole Farr, better known as Nikki, gathered outside of IHOP in Killeen Sunday night holding a candlelight vigil for their fallen friend.  Nikki Farr passed away early Sunday morning, but the lives that she touched in her short 21 years was very evident with almost one hundred people showing up to participate in the vigil.  At times like this it is very important to take the time to remember those that you have lost, but also as equally important to step up and help those in need.

Nikki’s friends have organized an event in her honor this Saturday at the American Legion Post 573 in Harker Heights.  There will be bands performing and BBQ plates being served with all the proceeds going to the family of Nikki.  If you are in town and would like to go or to donate for that cause please contact Adeana Childs at (254)423-6559.

Along with the event this Saturday, Nikki’s friends have also set up a memorial fund that anyone can go to and donate to help out this single mother’s family.  Find the GoFundMe account here.  Take a few moments to visit this website and help if you can.
