Townsquare Media has asked Melz On The MIC to work from home for the next 14 days. He does not have "Covid-19" but out of an abundance of caution, he will work from home and the following is an account of what he does "on the clock".

For starters, I wasn't happy when I was asked to stay at home. Full disclosure, my wife works at a business in Killeen which had someone test positive for the novel coronavirus and while she didn't come in contact with that person, its with an abundance of caution to my fellow colleagues that I "quarantine" myself.

I totally understand why, and I admit that it sucks because I love coming in everyday and giving you some optimism and fun to make it through this crazy time but I'm SAFE at home and I hope you are too. Its a minor adjustment but its necessary.

Therefore, for the next 14 days, I'll be not only doing my shows live from my home in KIlleen, I'll also be showing you what goes on while I'm working at home everyday as I deal with the pressure of delivering a live radio show while juggling the tomfoolery of my family life. For once, I'm going to let yall into my world, just for a little while.

In Day 1 of my chronicles, I get the news from "corporate" that I would be "quarantined" and would have to work from home.

These next 14 days are either going to be really fun, or a complete disaster. Pray for your boy.
