Yikes, this is embarrassing.

According to myhighplains.com, 7% of Americans believe chocolate milk comes from brown cows.

A survey conducted by the  Innovation Center of US Dairy states that an additional 48% don't know where chocolate milk comes from, making half the nation completely uninformed on the breakfast staple.

Oh, and this isn't the demographic that typically consumes the drink. These are all adults over the age of 18.

What is happening? Last week, New York proposed the idea of banning chocolate milk in schools. With this information, I'm assuming the ban idea originated from folks who don't even know what it is.

Okay, so here is how you make chocolate milk. You take some milk, any milk, heck vegans it can be almond milk, coconut milk, you happy? You take some chocolate, maybe some powder, you know like Nesquik, maybe some syrup, heat up a Hershey bar. Dump said chocolate into milk, stir, BAM you got chocolate milk!

Hope you can send this priceless information to someone you know in need. A cure for the milk cow blues.
