Man Approaches Texas News Crew to Confess to Fatal Shooting
An 18-year-old man wanted in connection to a fatal shooting in Forth Worth approached a TV news crew Sunday to confess and turn himself in.
KTVT-TV reports that Sebastian Ramirez-Barcenas, along with two friend, showed up at their studio around 5:30 PM Sunday and agreed to be on camera as he confessed to be responsible for the death 15-year-old Makayla Davis.
Ramirez-Barcenas reportedly panicked and ran into a forest near the scene of the shooting, where police spent hours looking for him. After speaking with KTVT, he turned himself in to police and was charged with criminally negligent homicide.
