A student teacher who was affiliated with the Leander Independent School District has been charged with a felony for her purported actions with a student. Here's what is known at the time of writing.

What Are The Actions Darian Christine Rogers Is Accused Of?

According to FOX 7, the situation began back in April of 2025. A student at Rouse High School alerted a teacher that there was something going on between a student-teacher and a student. The student's report started a police investigation.

Per the report of the student, Rogers was "engaging in sexual relationships with several of her co-workers from H-E-B who were also Leander ISD students." Evidence was also provided by the student, which was a voicemail from Rodgers stating she sent inappropriate images to a student who was male.

The male student, 17 years old at the time of writing, was questioned by police. At the beginning of questioning, the student refuted the claim of a relationship with Rodgers. But when police searched his phone, they found a conversation about the Plan B contraceptive pill between the two of them, and the student confessed.

What Did The Interview With Rodgers Reveal?

During inquiries with Rodgers, police discovered multiple pieces of evidence. However, at the start of the interview, Rodgers also refuted the relationship allegation. But Rodgers, when the previously mentioned text message evidence was shown to her, told law enforcement they had sex "one time."

With permission given by Rodgers, officers also searched through the phone. They found video evidence of Rodgers taking the previously mentioned Plan B pill, plus a receipt sent to the previously mentioned student.

The crime Rodgers stands accused of is a second-degree felony improper relationship between an educator and a student. She was placed in jail on May 16th, and posted on bond May 17th. As this is a developing story, we will have more information when it becomes available.
