Killeen’s Own Rose Short Makes it to the Top 8 on NBC’s The Voice

Great news again!

Killeen's own Rose Short has made it to the Top 8, on NBC's "The Voice".

She performed Blake Shelton's song "God's Country" on the show and viewers from around the world, (and right here in Central Texas) voted to place her right in the Top 8 where she undoubtedly belongs. No one who's heard her powerful and soulful performances can deny that she's earned this top spot and has been a serious contender throughout this season.

The news that she'd made it into the top 8 was revealed Tuesday.
