Arts by Rags mom/serial entrepreneur Drecka Thomas realized there aren't many opportunities for young children, especially boys, so she wanted to create a business around everything her talented children like and enjoy. Ayden and Greyson Thomas (the owners) provide custom paintings, yard cards, business signs, banners, paint parties, and many more creative ways to learn and enjoy the color in life.

HOW A LOVE TURNED INTO A CAREER

"Life is an adventure" is Drecka Thomas' motto, and that's the secret behind Arts by Rags. One of the Arts by Rags' most popular products has been their famous lemonade. They have traveled to fire stations, 5k runs, gyms, car shows, parks, and many area parties to share their lemonade with the RagsFam. The boys also love to give back to the Bell County community.

Last year, Art by Rags put on a 2-day learning project with over 30 foster children, with art projects about self-love and care. Ayden and Greyson have sold lemonade since they were both babies in 2020. They enjoyed it so much that they asked mom to sell lemonade daily, and that was the true beginning of their business.

The boys were eager, consistent, and started the business in the midst of the pandemic in April 2020. Although they love to sell lemonade, Arts by Rags has big plans for other children just like them across the world. Arts by Rags wants everyone to know that age doesn't matter. If you can be consistent and find something you really enjoy, it will never feel like a job.
