Killeen, Texas Will Be Honoring Hometown Heroes

The city of Killeen will have banners displayed from November 1 until November 30 for the hometown heroes in downtown historic Killeen.

CITY OF KILLEEN WANT TO THANK THE HOMETOWN HEROES

This year the city partnered up with the National Mountain Warfare Foundation for the second year to show appreciation and feature over 60 military veterans by displaying these individuals as the hometown heroes. The city of Killeen wants individuals to come out to the community and visit the historic downtown to view the amazing banners, lining the sidewalk, and take photos to save memories.

Not only does the city of Killeen honor those who have, and still do sacrifice their lives for not only the residents of the city of Killeen but for all of the United States.
