Killeen Police Searching For First National Bank Robber
Killeen Police are asking for your help in capturing a "woman" who robbed a local bank on Wednesday at gunpoint.
According to our news partners at News 10, the "woman" entered the First National Bank location at 4304 East Central Texas Expressway at around 5:00 PM, walked up to a teller, displayed a weapon, demanded money and fled to the south with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The "woman" is described as African American, 25 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-6, weighs about 150 pounds and was wearing a pink hat, a blue and red shirt, blue sweatpants and carrying a black handbag.
The reason why I'm putting "woman" in quotations is because, lots of folks on social media who saw and commented on the photos posted by the Killeen Police Department's Facebook page, believe that it is actually either a man wearing a wig or a transgender person.
Either way, if you have information that could help Killeen police apprehend this person, contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or go online at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com.
You can also download the P3Tips App for IOS or Android and give an anonymous tip. All information is confidential and anonymous and if your tip leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible, you could be eligible to receive a reward up to $1,000 in cash.
