Killeen Police Investigating Shooting at the Spot Bar and Restaurant
Killeen police are searching for a shooting suspect caught on surveillance footage at a local restaurant early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the Spot Bar & Restaurant at 10540 South Fort Hood Rd. Around 2:18 AM in response to a shooting.
When they arrived , they found a male victim suffering from several gunshot wounds. Officers started to perform life-saving measures until paramedics arrived.
The victim was transported to Scott and White Hospital in critical but stable condition.
According to information Killeen police were able to gather, the victim was standing near the rear patio area when the suspect began shooting at him multiple times.
Witness reported the shooter was a black male between 6'1 and 6'2 and weighing between 190 and 210 pounds. They say the man had short-cut hair and goatee style beard, and was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt with grey pants.
The incident was captured on surveillance video, and police have released an image of the suspect.

So many people are dying for senseless things. I feel like we are already going through a lot with the deadly coronavirus pandemic and the aftermath of the winter storm. With all that going on, it's sad to see something like this happen. My thoughts and prayers are with the victim, and I hope that they recover from their injuries.
