
Good Friday Closure: Killeen City Offices Announce Holiday Schedule
As Good Friday approaches, the City of Killeen would like to inform residents of upcoming changes to city services and office hours in observance of the holiday. All city official offices will be closed on Good Friday, which falls on April 18th this year. Regular operations will resume on Monday, April 21st, during normal business hours.

Despite the closure of administrative offices, essential services will continue without interruption. Emergency services such as police, fire, and ambulance will remain fully operational to ensure the safety and well-being of the community. Additionally, trash collection services will follow their regular schedule, so residents should place their bins out as usual.
Weekend Alert: City Offices Closed for Good Friday Observance
The solid waste transfer station will close early at 1:00 PM on Good Friday. The recycling center and the Solid Waste Administration building will be closed for the entire day. Residents who typically use these facilities are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Community Bulletin: City Offices Closed on Good Friday
For those looking to stay active over the holiday weekend, the Family Recreation Center will be open with adjusted hours, operating from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, other community facilities such as public libraries and senior centers will be closed on Good Friday.
