Killeen City Services Alert: Memorial Day Office Closures

The City of Killeen is advising residents to be aware that the city offices will be closed for Memorial Day, May 26. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 27. The City of Killeen issued a press release stating that emergency services will continue to operate without interruption.

Don't Get Caught Out! Killeen City Office Closures for Memorial Day

However, garbage service will be altered, and unfortunately, the Killeen Recycling Center and the Solid Waste Administration Building will be closed for the holiday. The Transfer Station will remain open from 8 AM to 1 PM, and recycling trailers will be located in the parking lot of the Killeen Special Event Center at 3301 S. WS Young Drive.

Important for Killeen: City Offices Closed in Observance of Memorial Day

Residents interested in visiting the Family Recreation Center are advised that it will be open from 5 AM to 5 PM. However, the libraries and the Senior Center will be closed.
