According to the city, as part of a water rehabilitation program, contractors were scheduled to install a 6-inch water valve to connect two existing water lines. Due to this work, water service was expected to be interrupted beginning at approximately 7:30 a.m. on June 17, with restoration anticipated by 5:00 p.m. the same day. Once the city conducted water sampling, results were expected to return within 24 to 48 hours.
Alert: No Boil Water Notice
However, the city issued an update this morning stating: “Hello all, please note the notice sent out on June 11 for the boil water notice program to begin June 17 has been canceled. The work will be rescheduled for a later date.”
