Kevin Hart has reportedly signed a deal with Motown Records under his rapping alter ego, Chocolate Droppa—for real.

As Billboard reports, no additional details about the project are available yet, so there's no word on who will be featured or when the lead single will drop, but if the album is really slated for this fall, there's a good chance that we'll be hearing something fairly soon.

Hart's alter ego has been around for a minute now, and the comedian has previously teased that a new album was coming on "October 33rd." Now, however, it seems that an album is actually happening.

Of course, Hart isn't the first comedian to make music (see: Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx), though he may be the first to do it using an alter ego.  Chris Rock's "No Sex" was released in 1999 on Geffen Records, though he didn't use an alter ego, or actually rap.

At any rate, there's a good chance that Hart's album, or rather Chocolate Droppa's project will be funny, or at least feature some amusing skits? With lines like this:  "I got one feather/that mean I fly whenever," there's sure to be some hilarious moments on the release.
