Time to Celebrate a Local Veteran and Business Owner in Killeen

The city of Killeen, Texas is growing every single day, and with new entrepreneurs flooding the city, you can’t help but be excited about what the future will hold for our city. After all, locally owned small businesses make up so much of a community's character and charm, and I'm so thrilled that a new one is about to host a grand opening.

K&J Fashion Boutique is located at 4001 East Stan Schlueter Suite B 207, and is one of the newest and most stylish women’s boutiques in the city.

When I spoke to owner Kimberly Burns, she explained to me that her business is a proudly veteran-owned boutique, and she couldn’t be more excited about the amazing style she’s bringing to Central Texas.

Of course, this isn't her first foray into fashion.

Kimberly Burns has actually owned and operated K&J Fashion Women’s Boutique for two years as an online business, but recently decided it was finally time for her to expand to a brick-and-mortar location and give Central Texas exactly what they’re looking for - great style and affordable prices.

This should be fun! I will be attending the grand opening next Saturday, May 14 from 9:30 AM through 11:30 AM, and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for Central Texas.

I could not be happier for Kimberly Burns and all the local entrepreneurs opening up shop in Killeen. I love that my city is growing and building businesses. More businesses mean more opportunities for people to find jobs and keep our money right here in the community.
