Another clothing retailer has announced its bankruptcy, and they will be closing all of their 500 plus stores including the 50 located in Texas where they have more locations than any other state including their home. It's beginning to feel like brick and mortar clothing stores are disappearing left and right, especially ones that have been a mall staple throughout much of our youth.

As you can see in the above article, it is not just retail stores that are closing in droves as inflation has priced out several discount and super saver stores and grocers. Even pharmacies are dropping like flies, which is telling when a place that sells drugs is having money problems.

Hearing another clothing franchise is shuttering is really sending up the alarms as this latest bankruptcy comes just weeks after hearing that Express is also closing due to filing Chapter 11.

Whopping 50 Texas Stores Now Closing In Recent Bankruptcy

Rue 21 has officially filed for bankruptcy for the third time, and this one is not the charm as the 500 plus retail locations will all close. The most recent bankruptcy was in 2017, and since their last filing they have continued to operate at a loss that has now led to a $200 million debt load.

According to this Market Watch article, you have about two months to take advantage of their going out of business sales. You better hurry because it appears they have already closed their website.
