Explosion At Plant In Temple, Texas Sends Five To Hospital
An explosion in Temple, Texas has harmed five individuals in the area. Here's what is known at the time of writing.

According to KWTX, the incident began around the time of 11:30 AM on October 1st, 2024. Per Santos Soto, Temple Fire Spokesperson, five unidentified individuals were taken to a local health facility for treatment of "severe burns."
At the time of writing, as stated by workers of the plant, the explosion included an induction furnace. The furnace in question was in the process of heating 10,000 pounds of molten metal to the temperature of 2,900 degrees. However, at the time of writing, the actual reason for the incident has not been determined.
Thankfully, the injuries suffered by the workers will not be life threatening, according to the fire department.
