All of us have to shop for something in Texas every day.

Some of us might need food to prepare, or maybe even some more personal items. We also might not be alone when shopping, as some of us may bring the little ones with us to the store. Whenever or wherever we shop, it always seems to be packed.

Some Texans however, may not bode well with a loud or perhaps bright shopping area. Those with disabilities may need help when they are getting their items, or they might go earlier during hours that are less intense. One business, Walmart, is set to roll out a new type of cart to assist those with special needs.

It's known as “Caroline’s Carts." Here's how they help a certain type of individual.

How A Caroline's Cart Assists Those In The Lone Star State

According to KXAN, the cart themselves have the task of assisting caregivers who are shopping in the store. The carts are set to help those who care for individuals that have certain conditions. Some mentioned include injuries or disabilities.

At the time of writing, 8,000 of them will be in stores across the nation, and Texas will be receiving the carts. Per The Executive Vice President of Store Operations at Walmart, Cedric Clark:

“Equipping our stores with Caroline’s Carts provides some relief to parents and caregivers who need this tool and know it’s available at their Walmart. Whether they’re caring for someone with a disability or a temporary injury, the carts support our customers when and how they need it every time they come through our doors."
