2 people from Moody, Texas were rushed to the hospital, one air lifted with a currently unknown status, after a domestic violence altercation on Wednesday evening. McLennan Country Sheriff's Office Crime Scene teams and several other agencies have cooperated throughout the event and investigation.

What is the Moody Police Department is commenting thus far?

Right now, we have been able to receive limited information on the events that led up to the stabbings, and names have not been released due to the sensitive nature of the attack, and ongoing investigation that is proceeding with multiple agencies. The Moody Police Department in an issued statement via Facebook is asking residents to please not participate in spreading rumors, and when possible,

"Try to squash the rumors as they come up."

Who is responsible for the stabbings?

According to the same Facebook status, the Moody Police Department has determined that both victims, a female and a male, were stabbed by the male during a domestic violence confrontation. The female victim is said to be in stable condition after being ground transported to a nearby facility.

The man had to be life flighted. It was not said where the suspect was taken.
