WATCH: Pep Rallies In Texas Are Simply Something Else
High school sports in Texas are truly a spectacle aren't they?
Everything is bigger here in the Lone Star State, and the passion for sports here is second to none. We've all seen a packed stadium for a highly anticipated matchup of two great teams haven't we? There's even been some classic calls posted to the internet of some of the games.
But the leadup to the game itself is also exciting right? The analysis, the trash talk...it all combines into an amazing atmosphere. One of the parts of the pregame ceremonies is none other than a pep rally from the hosting school.
Much like the sports in the state, the pep rallies match the energy. How do we know? Well, video evidence of course!

In a video posted by John Carlos-Estrada from CBS Austin, one can see how Allen High School, located in Allen, Texas of course, gets excited for a big game:
Well, if one didn't know any better, they'd think there is a concert set to happen in that gym! Just look at all the flashing lights. Not only are there what seem to be light up wristbands, but the phone lights are also on full display.
Of course the band is also rocking the place, and the cheerleaders are leading the crowd too. If this is what the pep rally is like, we can only what the actual crowd will be like during the game!
Just goes to show that Texas sports are just the best sometimes.
