Texans Paying a Lot for These Popular Back-to-School Items

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know how parents in Texas make it happen, while I am not a parent, I’m just in awe how parents seem to be able to juggle everything. Right now, we know that most families are getting ready to go back to school, this is paired with the fact that inflation is hitting most Texas families pretty hard yet they still need to buy the items necessary for the students to have what they need to go back to school. 

If it was just a few spiral notebooks and some pens that would be one thing, but there is always a list of supplies that are needed. While we’re discussing back to school, we also want to thank so many teachers for putting much of the money they make into supplies for their students. It really takes everyone pulling together for kids to get everything they need for a successful school year. Although don't forget about tax free weekend.

We asked Texas parents what items seem to be costing the most this year, getting students ready to return to school, and there were many items mentioned in the list below. And it was interesting to hear things like musical instruments and cleats for sports being mentioned, but it makes sense.
