As the State of Texas prepares for "re-opening" on Friday, there continues to be concern on whether or not the state is moving too fast and one of those concerns stems from a lack of testing for the virus.

Drive-Thru and Walk-In Testing sites have begun to appear here in Central Texas at several hospitals and urgent care centers including AdventHealth Central Texas, Baylor Scott & White in Temple and Freedom Urgent Care. There are also plans for "mobile test collection" this week in Kempner.

The Texas Department of State Health Services recently released an interactive map with locations on where you can get a drive-thru or walk-in COVID-19 test if you have symptoms or have had exposure with someone who has it. You can also find details on "mobile test collection" if you live a little further out.

Check your location’s hours and referral requirements before your visit and for more details visit The Texas Department of State Health Services.
