Highly Contagious Disease Causing Serious Illness Has Tested Positive In Texas Water
A glass of water in Texas recently could find individuals in an uncomfortable position. According to our RTT News, there was a study that was conducted here in the great state by researchers at Waco Texas infamous college Baylor University, which revealed that there were nine cities across the state that have been sampled and tested positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza, also known as HPAI.
WHAT IS HPIA AND IS IT FATAL?
Highly pathogenic avian influenza is a highly contagious disease that causes serious illness and can be transmitted to domestic poultry and other bird and animal species. HPAI can also be known as bird flu and is caused by two A types of viruses. The virus is so deadly that a strand of HPAI can wipe out an entire flock of birds within days. This particular virus is not to be taken lightly. It can be deadly to poultry and most importantly the disease can kill humans.
WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF HPAI?
This disease infection is so fatal that typically it kills 95 to 100% of an entire affected flock. If you find yourself with a terrible cough, a headache, shortness of breath, sore throat, chills, fevers, fatigue, congestion, or even a runny nose, and muscle or body aches. You may have tested positive for this contagious disease, and you will need to immediately see a doctor.
