A Harker Heights woman sought in connection with a high profile sexual assault case involving rapper Mystikal turned herself into Caddo Parish, Louisiana authorities Monday, and she's speaking out against the charges being brought against her.

KCEN reports that 40-year-old Tenichia Wafford is accused of trying to silence the victim of the alleged assault, which reportedly took place in October of last year. Jail records indicate she's been charged with First Degree Rape, Accessory After the Fact and her bond was set at $200,000.

Michael "Mystikal" Tyler also turned himself into the same jail on Monday. He's been charged with First Degree Rape along with Avereweone Holman of Killeen, who was arrested last Friday by U.S. Marshals. Both Holman and Tyler's bonds are set at $2 million each.

According to multiple reports, the charges stem from a 2016 incident in Shreveport. Wafford, who spoke to TMZ, maintains her innocence and says that the alleged victim told her that there was no rape in the video below.
