WELCOME K9 GERI
I am so excited to announce that the Killeen ISD police department is introducing a new member of the department K9 Geri. Get excited Killeen because K9 Geri will make his debut Thursday morning. K9 Geri is an excited two-year-old Belgian Malinois and has been trained in weapon detection and apprehension this guy is the real deal! K9 Geri's handler and partner officer Kyle Perrow has done extremely intensive training to learn how to work with Geri, that way they can be the perfect team to protect Killeen's Independent School District.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE OFFICER KYLE PERROW AND WELCOME K9 GERI.
This dynamic duo has trained constantly on detecting 15 different kinds of weapons, explosives, and firearms, these two amazing officers have been together for nearly 4 months and the training isn’t over just yet, there is more to come. Killeen Independent School District Police Chief Ralph Disher will make a brief statement Thursday morning at 11 AM to the KISD School board and officer Geri will do a short demonstration. Officer K9 Geri, will be making all of the KISD is safe and sound. It is safe to say that we are safe in his hands or maybe paws are a better reference.
