Ginuwine Surprises Jamie Foxx With His ‘Pony’ on ‘Beat Shazam’ [VIDEO]
Jamie Foxx is having so much fun on his new game show Beat Shazam on Fox. The interactive program pits two teams against the clock to guess some of the biggest songs in music in just seconds. In the end, the team with the highest score wins big money.
On the latest episode, teams try to figure out some of the biggest dance songs in pop music. When a team successfully identifies Los Del Rio’s 1993 chart-topping dance hit “La Macarena,” Foxx revealed to the crowd that he doesn’t know how to do the dance. The actor-comedian then says that back in the days, all he knows how to do was the “Pony” dance.
This prompted R&B singer Ginuwine, the “Pony” creator himself, to enter the stage and show the audience how to really do the dance. The surprised look on Foxx’s face is priceless.
Ginuwine will forever be remembered for his 1996 dance song, which is from his debut album, Ginuwine...The Bachelor. However, the 47-year-old singer is pursuing other ventures outside of music.
The R&B veteran, who has been serenading the ladies for over 25 years, recently signed a talent deal with Buckwald, an all-around entertainment company that represents artists in music, television, and film.
"I’m so excited," Ginuwine wrote to his followers on Instagram. "I’m so much more than just a singer and entertainer. I AM ENTERTAINMENT!!!! You all will soon see!!!"
Jamie Foxx's game show Beat Shazam airs every Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on Fox.
