Free Temporary COVID-19 Testing Site In Killeen Extended
As we approach what many consider to be "allergy" season, it's best to not ignore how close the symptoms of COVID-19 are to what you may be experiencing. It's best to get tested and know for sure.
If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, you should and are eligible to receive a free COVID-19 test this week in Killeen:
- Fever and/or chills
- Cough (dry or productive)
- Fatigue
- Body aches/muscle or joint pain
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat
- Headaches
- Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
- Nasal congestion
- Loss of taste and/or smell
The City of Killeen has extended its temporary COVID-19 testing site at the Killeen Special Events Center located at 3301 S. W.S. Young Drive by a few days this week. Testing will now be open October 13 through October 16 from 9:00 A.M to 7:00 P.M. and October 17 from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Testing is free and registration is available in advance and on-site by visiting gogettested.com. Tests are administered while participants remain in their vehicles and face masks are required for everyone in your vehicle.
