FM 440 Lane Closure in Killeen Scheduled Through March 7

The city of Killeen has issued a notice informing residents that the southbound lane of Old FM 440, from Valentine Street to Stephen Street, will be closed to traffic starting today, Monday, March 3, until Friday, March 7, from 7 AM to 4 PM, weather permitting. Additionally, the westbound lane of Jasper Street, between Old FM 440 and S. Fort Hood Road, will also be closed.

Killeen’s Old FM 440 Lane Closure: Roadwork to Continue Until March 7

These closures are in place to allow Atoms Energy contractors to perform work in the area, and sidewalks may also be blocked during work hours. A contractor will be on-site to direct traffic and guide motorists around the work zone. Motorists in the area should expect delays and are advised to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
