Drug ‘Take-Back’ Day is Coming
Sometimes it's doing the little things that can keep your family safe. This Saturday is the day to unload all your old drugs.
The Temple Police Department will once again be participating in the DEA's "Take-Back" campaign.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29th, and go till 2 p.m. inside the Temple P.D. lobby at 209 East Avenue A.
Don't let the festivities of the Bloomin' Temple Festival bother you. The lobby will be open. So please bring in you old, unused, and unwanted prescription medication for proper disposal with no questions asked.
Saturday, April 29 is National Drug Take Back Day! Join us anytime from 10a-2p at PSHQ, 3849 Cartwright Rd to dispose of your unwanted medication - free of charge! #drugtakeback #drugtakebackday #dea #drugenforcement #drugenforcementadministration #police #policeofficer #police👮 #police👮♀️ #policedepartment #policeofficers #publicsafety #publicservant #publicservice
This is set up for residents, not pharmacies. You are urged to bring old and unwanted medications in the original containers, and syringes cannot be accepted during this event.
