UPDATE 9/7/22: KWKT-TV's Roland Richter reports that a suspect in this case has been arrested.

He spoke with KPD spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez, who identified the suspect as 38-year-old Brittney Dale Hall, who allegedly stole several items from the store, then threatened and spit on officers during her arrest and booking.

Bell County Jail records showed Hall remained in custody Wednesday afternoon with bond set at $160,000. She's been charged with second degree felony robbery and third degree felony harassment of a public servant.

I’m honestly beginning to feel that I say "we need to do better as a community in Killeen, Texas" a little bit too much. It's getting to the point where it’s becoming routine for me to have to report on something weird, destructive, and embarrassing in our city.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN KILLEEN?

While many of us were enjoying our Labor Day weekend, employees at a Dollar General location in Killeen were having a very un-relaxo time.

A private social media group released a video yesterday that was just disturbing, to say the least. It shows an individual going into the Dollar General on Lake Road and absolutely destroying everything in sight.

At one point, you can hear the cashier pleading for the individual just to leave, but the disturbed individual continues vandalizing the property.

What’s so odd about this is this didn’t take place at night when Dollar General is completely empty. This person decided to not only trash the Dollar General in broad daylight, but also stole from the store with so many witnesses around whose attention they'd drawn to themselves.

STAY SAFE OUT THERE, KILLEEN

I contacted Dollar General to see if we could get a quote about what happened, but no one has responded back as of this article's publication.

My opinion is that the staff is probably petrified, and not exactly sure what the next step would be in regards to that situation. You can see in the video that the disturbed individual steals cigarettes and cusses out shoppers all at the same time. It is pathetic.

This video has already gone viral, I’m hoping soon  KPD will get involved so we can really get an idea of what happened. Stay safe out there, Killeen!

Let's take a look at 10 of the weirdest ones in the Lone Star State.
