Denver is the place to be.. if you want to get high!

Colorado is one of 10 states that legalized recreational marijuana use. Now the city of Denver has voted to decriminalize psychedelic mushrooms, making them the first U.S. city to do so.

Many people use mushrooms for recreational use to get high, while others use it for medicinal purposes to help them battle treatment-resistant depression.

The Denver Post reports that "Initiative 301" will now enable police to "look the other way" as it will be considered their lowest priority.

You may still be fined and/or go to jail for up to a year for possession of mushrooms and it's still illegal to buy, sell, or possess, but after this vote, you can expect change of laws and this new initiative will help to substantially lower the penalties.

I, for one, have never tried mushrooms so I don't have an opinion either way, but shroomers yet ANOTHER reason to visit Denver!
