Singer Daniel Caesar has had a stellar start to his career so far with multiple hits including "Best Part" with H.E.R. which earned him a Grammy Award this year. But the Canadian born singer is getting all the smoke from social media after some comments he made about race in an Instagram Live video.

According to Newsweek, the R&B star went on a "rant" about Black folks being "too sensitive" to jokes and criticism while defending social media star YesJulz a white woman, who criticized black women media mavens Scottie Beam and Karen Civil.

“To not allow people to say what they want doesn’t help you. Are we winning right now as a culture, like are we on top of society? You can’t win the game by choosing to not accept the winning team’s strategy. You have to acknowledge their strategy and then build a strategy on top of that.” - Daniel Caesar

You can check out his comments in the video above but what do you think about what he said? Do you agree with him or does he deserve to get clowned like he is today?
