CTX school goes on lockdown after student brings BB gun to class

Parents, please be mindful of what your children bring to school.

Today a Central Texas middle school was locked down after a student brought a BB gun to the classroom.
Tennyson Middle School in Waco was locked down for about 20 minutes before police officers located a BB gun in a locker and identified the student who brought it on campus.

KWTX reports that a classmate reported to a school official that the student had a BB gun, the student will now face criminal charges. Hopefully, this dumb mistake won't stay with the student.

This could have been instantly avoided, whether the child thought it was a joke this is a matter that should be taken serious.
