Blue Bell Ice Cream is well known in the state of Texas. After all, it was started here! But with so many flavors, some people miss their favorites. For many, a classic flavor is coming back and very soon.
What Is Blue Bell's History In Texas?
The company was started over 100 years ago in Brenham, Texas, according to the company itself. Originally, the company wasn't called Blue Bell though. Instead, it was called Brenham Creamery Company. Then in 1930, the company took it's now familiar name.
Over the years, there have been many different flavors offered from the company. With so many flavors brought forward, some have gained the hearts of many over a short period. When one disappears, it leaves only memories.

However, one flavor is making a dramatic return, thanks to fans in the state.
What Blue Bell Flavor Is Coming Back In Central Texas?
To determine which flavor of the ice cream would make its way back to Central Texas stomachs, none other than a tournament was held. 16 flavors took to the bracket, with one gaining the chance of getting back into freezers. So, the main question, who won?
Thanks to the fans of Blue Bell, Groom's Cake took the top spot. But, what happened to the runner up, Cookie Cake? Well, Blue Bell fans are in luck because it's also making it's way back to store shelves.
So, it looks like for fans of both flavors, it's time to find a ice cream scoop!
