Comedian & Actor Pierre Returns To His Birthplace Killeen To Perform
You more than likely remember Pierre Edwards for his many movie appearances in the 90s and 2000s including "How To Be A Player", "B.A.P.S." and "The Wash" but folks often forget that he's an incredible stand-up comedian and he's bringing his talents back to the place of his birth this weekend.
Catch Pierre aka "Johnny Handsome" performing this weekend at The Twice As Funny Comedy Lounge beginning Friday night. Pierre was actually born in Killeen but his family later moved to Germany and spend most of his life in Washington D.C. with humble beginnings in stand-up comedy working his way up alongside stars like Dave Chappelle and others before moving to the West Coast and becoming a star in his own right.
Melz On The MIC spent a few minutes on the phone chopping it up with Pierre about his beginnings here in Killeen, his stand-up career and what he's working on now!
Check out Pierre this weekend in Killeen at Twice As Funny Comedy Lounge and check out his YouTube series "Dating Pierre" anytime.
