Come and Join the Fun at the Second Annual Urban Power Connections Block Party
I love when a plan comes together and a community comes together to celebrate each other. I am so excited to announce that's just what's happening this weekend in Killeen!
Urban Power Connections and the the Killeen community have invited you to the 2nd Annual Block Party on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Block party will be hosted by Life is Funny South Philly Reef. The fun's happening at 1402 North Second Street in Killeen.
Second street will be closed from X to X to create a festive, family-friendly environment. COVID-19 restrictions are in place. Masks are highly recommended and will be available to everyone who comes out.
Enjoy live music, food trucks, bouncy houses, and performances for folks of all ages. Join in the fun as young people engage and entertain the crowds with their skills, knowledge, and talent.
Exhibitors and performers include youth and adults from different local arts, community, fitness, and education organizations. You can also learn about community events opportunities, summer camps, and school-year programs.
You and your family and friends can come out and join the festivities and the appreciation of the community coming together.
If you’re thinking to yourself you want to attend but your funds are a little tight, let not your heart be troubled because this event is completely free to the community.
There will be bouncy houses, live music, food, and just authentic down-home fun. So get dressed, grab the babies, and head to the block party and have some fun.
