If you're looking for an opportunity to volunteer or just want to get outside and do some major gardening, the City oF Harker Heights could use your help.

On Saturday, April 28, they'll be planting crepe myrtle trees along Knights Way as part of a beautification project.

They need at least 40 people to help plant the trees, as well as 20 group leaders.

They're even offering a class for group leaders, so if you're looking to get some experience and hone your leadership skills, this is definitely the project for you.

Imagine seeing those beautiful trees blooming in spectacular color each year and knowing you helped make it happen!

If you're interested in volunteering, visit the project's Facebook event page, email mary@hhchamber.com, or call (254) 699-4999.
