Central Texas College Ranked Among Top Online Community Colleges in Texas

If you're looking for one of the top online colleges in the Lone Star State, look no further than your backyard.

SR Education Group has ranked the 24 Texas community colleges that offer fully online associate degrees, and Central Texas College in Killeen came in at #2. Adria Vaughan, a representative of SR Education Group, shared the good news with us Wednesday morning.

"Each community college was ranked by several important factors," she wrote, "including retention rate, graduation rate, percentage of online enrollment data, and the number of online associate degrees offered."

CTC certainly deserves a place in the top 10 when you consider that the school offers 30 online Associate degrees and 32 online certificate programs. Associate degrees offered include Business Management, Criminal Justice, various Computer Science programs. There's even an online AAS and certificate for helping At Risk Youth.

There are already so many reasons to be proud of Central Texas and love living here, and it's always great to have a new reason to brag on our little patch of paradise. As more businesses move here and more people settle in, careers are bound to become more advanced and competitive. It's great to know that we've got one of Texas' top community colleges to educate and empower us.
