Due to unforeseen circumstances, R&B singer Ro James is unable to perform at the 2018 Bloomin’ Temple Festival on Saturday, April 28th. James will now be replaced by Grammy nominated R&B star, Carl Thomas. - Jonathan Logue Marketing Program Coordinator Temple Parks & Recreation

Former Bad Boy Carl Thomas will be coming to Temple to perform on the Cefco Stage Saturday night at 10:30pm in place of Ro James. Thomas is best known for his platinum album "Emotional" which produced classic hits like "I Wish" and "Emotional".

The 2018 Bloomin’ Temple Festival will be held at the new Martin Luther King Festival Fields located at 301 South 4th Street in downtown Temple. The festival, held Friday, April 27th and Saturday, April 28th, will feature entertainment on two musical stages featuring acts in Hip Hop, Tejano, Red Dirt, and Country Music, a Kid’s Zone, carnival, arts & crafts vendors, food and much more! 2-Day and Single Day Adult passes are on sale online and kids 12 and under are free.
