Boil Water Notice In Killeen, Texas Has Been Lifted

The city of Killeen put out an emergency boil water notice on March 12. Residents living in the block through the 100 and 300 block of Kelly Lane were instructed to make sure to boil their water before consumption.

KILLEEN BOILING WATER NOTICE IS LIFTED

Water crews today isolated the water main for repairs due to a private contractor hitting a mainline. The city of Killeen water crew made sure to remain at the location until all the repairs were completely done, and the water services were properly restored. After a quality sample was taken the following morning the result showed that there was no longer contamination occurring.
