I truly hope that you are aware that just a few minutes away from us, a Grammy Award winning guitar virtuoso, songwriter and singer, Gary Clark Jr. is becoming a worldwide star. I've actually had the pleasure of meeting him on several different occasions and he's a very down to earth and real person despite all the fame around him. He's already won a Grammy for "Best Traditional R&B Performance" for his 2012 performance of "Please Come Home" from his "Blak And Blu" album and already has several amazing albums under his belt. With a new project on the way "The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim" dropping in September, he stopped by The Tom Joyner Morning Show to perform a few of his songs including "Grinder", "The Healing".
