Austin Woman Arrested For Pulling Out A Gun Over Karaoke
According to The Austin American Stateman, 41-year-old Doris Vallejo-Godoy pulled a gun on a man inside of a Mexican restaurant in Southeast Austin during an argument over who would be up next for karaoke.
She got so upset that she hit the guy in the face then pulled out her gun and
pointed it at him. She was arrested on two felony charges: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful carrying of a concealed weapon.
We're still trying to find out what song she wanted to sing so badly that produced such a reaction.
Speaking of Karaoke, this Sunday night, we're doing "Old School Karaoke" giving you a chance to come in and belt out some of your favorite old school R&B jams and hook you up with a chance to win $20 Chief's Gift Cards and other prizes including MyKiss1031 t-shirts. Melz On The MIC will be broadcasting live beginning at 8:00 pm.
HERE'S WHAT WE ARE NOT GOING TO DO ON SUNDAY NIGHT: Deal with you "serious Karaoke" types like this lady out of Austin.
Some of yall take "Karaoke" a little too seriously and if you're one of those types, stay your ass at home because we're strictly about having fun in a smoke free environment with no cover charge so come hang out with us, bring your friends and your singing voice but leave your weapons at home!
