A MEET-UP FOR AN INNOCENT TRANSACTION GOES WRONG IN DALLAS TEXAS
It was on November 13 when the Dallas police released that Amaya Medrano was arrested and the 66-year-old victim has been identified as Ahmad Alkhalaf. The victim was found dead at Oak Cliff gas station on November 8 and Dallas officers would later find his body next to his pickup truck. Dallas police stated that "on November 8, 2024, at approximately 3 PM Dallas responded to a shooting in the 300 block of S. Morales Ave." The investigators stated, "It's determined that one person had been shot and when the Dallas Fire Rescue came to the scene the victim was sent to the local hospital, where unfortunately he died from injuries."
The fact that all of this started because Ahmad was an innocent man who just was trying to sell his iPhone to someone he felt was interested in the purchase is a sad situation. Surveillance footage showed that Ahmad and Amaya only had a short conversation and she turned around and shot the man and ran away from the scene of the crime. Amaya is now being held in the Dallas County jail and her bond is set at $1 million.
