3rd Annual Fire Prevention Week Was Celebrated In Killeen Texas
The city of Killeen celebrated the third annual fire prevention week on Saturday from 4 PM to 7 PM located at 201 S. 28th St. Even though this event has already passed, I feel like it was very important to mention it and let it receive the recognition that it most definitely deserves.
KILLEEN CELEBRATED THE 3RD ANNUAL FIRE PREVENTION WEEK
This event was open to the public, and it was an opportunity to meet and greet the firefighters of Killeen, and also educate the community with basic first aid tips, an obstacle course for the youth, vehicle tours, and a demonstration on how quickly a fire can spread and Sparky the fire dog was also there with so much more activities. A lot of times residents of the city have plenty of concerns that we don’t have certain events like this for our children and this was the perfect opportunity for you and your family to come out and really get an idea of how well the community works hand-in-hand with one another.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE KFD
This is just pretty much an open letter to the Killeen Fire Department. Thank you for your dedication and hard work. A lot of times, we really do put our essential workers on the back burner and they don’t get the recognition that they deserve. On behalf of the city opening very grateful for our firefighters and we cannot wait for the fourth annual Killeen fire department open house.
