Just three days after rapper Yung Berg was arrested for allegedly beating and choking his girlfriend, Masika Kalysha, he's been axed from 'Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood.'

As we previously shared, the Chicago rapper and producer was taken into custody by New York City police after he was accused of punching Kalysha in the face, dragging her around the room by the hair, and choking her. He was eventually charged with obstruction of breathing.

The alleged incident took place at the Gershwin Hotel, and once police arrived they noticed bruises on the woman, and she also complained of physical pain.

According to TMZ, the couple got into a heated argument after Berg's credit card was declined while he and Kalysha were dining out.

Based on the serious charges, VH1 quickly said they no longer wanted to be in business with him. The network moved swift and fast in the firing of the 'Look What You Made Me' creator, especially since the issue of domestic violence has been part of the national dialogue these days, ever since the now infamous Ray Rice incident.

According to reports, Yung Berg is still in police custody.
