One of pro wrestling's all time greats and WWE Hall of Famer Virgil Runnels, known as Dusty Rhodes aka "The American Dream" passed away today (June 11) at the age of 69 according to the WWE.

Dusty was well-known for his interviews and trash talk on TV as evidenced by the impassioned and now classic "Hard Times" clip above. That's what made him great to many young wrestling fans, he wasn't a chiseled pretty boy, he looked like a guy who just showed up to the arena after a few beers and came to wrestle and have fun. His many classic bouts with Ric Flair in the 70's and 80's are the stuff of legend.

We send our condolences to his family, friends and fans everywhere.
