Live from New York, it's J.J. Watt!

No, no don't worry the Texans defensive end didn't get traded to the New York Giants or Jets, he'll be hosting Saturday Night Live the night before the Super Bowl.

SNL has had a number of athletes host the variety show, but Watt will be the first NFL player to do the job since Eli Manning eight years ago according to Chron. Eli was pretty good, but it'll be tough to surpass the job his brother did. Commercial superstar and Super Bowl-winning quarterback Peyton Manning is not only the best athlete to host, but he may also be the best host of all time.

Watt has been in a handful of commercials himself and even has a few film and television credits on his IMDB. He was in 'New Girl' and 'Bad Moms' and has hosted the CMT awards. I mean the guy can do just about anything

Country singer Luke Combs will be the musical guest.
