The alleged  Fort Hood shooter  Major Nidal Hasan is still getting a check from the Army every month. In fact since his arrest in November of 2009, he has been paid more then $280.000 including raises and by August of this year he will have been paid more then  $300.000. Why , well according to the Army ,the law states until Major Hasan is convicted in his court  marshall  hearing which is due to begin July 1st he is entitled to receive his pay as a member of the military, and their is nothing anyone can do to stop him from receiving his monthly checks. This is just another case that doesn't seem right, but is protected under the letter of the law.
