The President of the United States must have a very safe car. More "death proof" than Kurt Russell's car in 'Death Proof' it seems, as the makers of 'White House Down' found out while working on the movie. This new featurette gives a spotlight to the president's car (nicknamed "The Beast") and what it goes through in the movie.

Here we see Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum ride in "The Beast" -- which comes with its own rocket launcher -- and see how much damage the vehicle is prepared to take, which is a lot. The filmmakers based their designs on the POTUS's real car but had to guess how big and how safe it must be. They describe it as a "panic room on wheels." The best shot in the piece, however, is Jamie Foxx doing a Michael Jackson impression while near a wind machine.

It's funny, with the first trailers, and after 'Olympus has Fallen,' this didn't look like it could make much of a dent in a summer featuring 'Iron Man 3,' 'Man of Steel' and 'Pacific Rim.' But now 'White House Down' is easily one of our most anticipated films of the year, because it looks like a ridiculous amount of fun. 'White House Down' hits theaters June 28. Here's the film's synopsis:

Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.
