UPDATE: Cove Higway 190 Shooting, Suspect Identified

Copperas Cove Police released an update to a Friday (Feb.19th) afternoon shooting incident along Highway 190 that sent 2 people to the hospital. The suspect identified as Daniel Joseph Leonielli of Leander was arrested by Austin Police Friday Feb. 19 and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Family Violence and Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon.

Leonelli was arraigned in Williamson County and is currently in the Williamson County Jail. Copperas Cove Police said that they are still investigating this incident and will release further information as it becomes available.
